The objective of this assignment was to assess the impact of the CIP ICT-PSP actions over time, in terms of:
- the structuring effect of the programme in bringing key stakeholders together and creating coherence within the EU and between Member States in the preparation and implementation of pilots and in thematic networks;
- the level of achievement of the objectives of the initiatives funded;
- the take up and wider deployment of systems and services from the pilots;
- the benefits to stakeholders, notably SMEs from wider take up of systems and services.
This study covered all the initiatives funded within the CIP ICT-PSP. This included all the information available on activities under the different calls launched under CIP – PSP programme.
The outcome of this assignment was used to Inform the final evaluation of the CIP ICT-PSP, and provided evidence for the Impact Assessment of the follow-up programme.
