INNOVA Europe will conduct a study in Romania in collaboration with local partners which will:
- assess the capacity of the National agency for scientific research (NASR) to monitor different sectors and allocate public financing;
- assist the NASR to set up efficient monitoring and evaluation tools, with a view to disposing of objective and continuous assessment of the stakeholders;
- identify the main public or private R&D institutions in the nine thematic sectors (Energy; Environment; Health; Agriculture; food; security and safety; Advanced materials, products and processes) of the RDI Strategy, and assess their capacity to apply for ERDF or the 7th Framework programme funding and implement accordingly successful projects.
The project is financed by the European Commission’s DG Regional Policy
