eTEN National Contact Point Support Service

The eServices Europa project (eTEN NCP Support Service 2007-2010), an e-service developed with funds from the eTEN programme and coordinated by INNOVA Europe on behalf of the European Commission pursues a twofold goal.

On the one hand, eServices Europa will offer direct support to a selected number of Trans-European projects focused on eServices within the following six themes: eGovernment, eHealth, eInclusion, eLearning, Trust and Security, and SMEs. Better known as ‘eTEN projects’, these will receive support over the next three years in the form of training, dissemination, marketing and networking initiatives.

On the other hand, the project will provide support to the network of National Contact Points (hereafter referred to as ‘CIP NCPs network’) for the ICT Policy Support Programme under the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP).

Only a strong CIP NCPs network, perfectly tuned with the new and expanded objectives of the project, well trained and provided with the marketing, dissemination and networking tools can ensure the necessary mobilisation of local actors around the new challenges brought about by the CIP.
