Scientific ties between Europe and Russia has always been very tight. As a proof, Russia has 16 ongoing bilateral S&T cooperation agreements with the Member States and Associated Countries. Furthermore, the cooperation agreement with the European Commission aims to create a common space in which their respective research communities could work together in key strategic areas. The list of Russian S&T programmes is not exhaustive. Today, Russia request for the status of associated country with the FP7.

A new ACCESSRU Newsletter have been published, in which INNOVA Europe was highlighted. Read the Newsletter.
The new European Commission's website on transport research is launched. The site, is offering information on DG Research and Innovation's policy on transport research, including relevant events, information on funding opportunities and policy priorities. It also provides examples of transport researches that are being funded by the European Commission to help make transport in Europe safer, greener and smarter.
SIP Bench II project - The objective of this study is to help parents to choose the most appropriate parental control tool that best fits their needs. This will be done by means of an expert assessment of products, tools and services that allow users to control children's access to inappropriate content online. As a result of each benchmarking cycle, a ranking list will be produced to help end users (notably parents) in the decision making process. The project will review parental control tools in 5 cycles until the end of 2012 and results will be public.
